Your jet boat experience begins in Winchester Bay on the southern Oregon Coast.  The summer season runs from June to September.  Upon your arrival, you will be provided with a safety briefing.  Once everyone is aboard and safely seated, you will begin your tour of Salmon Harbor making your way along the Umpqua River through the Oregon Dunes National Recreation area.

Choose from three exciting river excursions designed for every taste and budget.  Our extended tour departs from Winchester Bay and heads up river to Reedsport and the Umpqua Discovery Center.   Our Winery Tour, scheduled between March and June, departs from Elkton and includes lunch and wine tasting at the Henry Estate Winery. Winery Tours are by reservation only, with group discounts available.  We also offer an overnight package that includes lodging at a Bed & Breakfast.  Call or email for details.

You will want to bring along camera , because there are always some spectacular photo  opportunities. Our tours are unique, offering different levels of excitement, while featuring presentations on the historical culture of the native and coastal lifestyles.

We incorporate a visit to the Award Winning Umpqua Discovery Center which depicts the coastal culture and natural habitat of a “Tidewater Community”.  A combination of indoor exhibits and outdoor eco-stations tells the story of the Umpqua estuary: the weather, the forests, the dunes, the wildlife and, of course, the Umpqua as it makes its way to the Pacific.   Upon completion of this tour, we will reboard the Jetboat Odyssey and begin our journey back to Winchester Bay.
